Onramps & Outposts comes from two words; one for a one-way lane for getting onto a main highway and the other for a station established at a distance from the main body of an army to protect it from surprise attack. "O2" is also a play on the designation for oxygen.

We believe that the call to love God and neighbor is unchanging in a rapidly changing world. It is a call to always move forward in serving the interests of the border crossing Kingdom of God. Though our minds trick us and hearts often fail us, we are always invited to move in the direction of God's great love and holy purpose that seeks the welfare of people, cities, regions, and nations. In the book of Isaiah this movement is referred to as a highway. We desire to identify and construct onramps to this highway.

We value the places and people that have been forgotten or left behind in the inevitable march of what is often defined as progress. It is the people in these places that often suffer the most. The heart of our local, national, and global community is often revealed in how we serve the most vulnerable. We desire to be an outpost that protects and speaks to these interests of the heart.

We aim to be a life giving Christian community development organization serving men and families in Aliquippa and beyond.
